Born and raised in the American midwest, Maryam Khawar settled in the San Fransisco Bay area as a teenager and has lived there ever since. From a young age, art, and poetry have felt intuitive to her. She is majoring in Art Practice and Creative Writing at UC Berkeley and plans to graduate in Spring 2023.
